Jakarta Province is an Indonesian region, located in the Java island, including the Islands of Seribu. Jakarta is the only city in Indonesia that has province-level status. Jakarta is also the state capital of Indonesia.

Its area is 740.3 square km. Most of the inhabitants are Javanese, Betawi and Sundanese.
